Alcan Packaging Propack Co., Ltd. (AP Propack) started with our first factory in Huizhou, Guangdong Province in 1992. In 2003, Propack joined in Alcan Packaging as a part of the Asian-Pacific Division, and has become the largest member of Alcan Packaging's Asian team since then.
We have 7 manufacturing sites throughout China respectively located in Huizhou, Zhongshan, Foshan, Guangdong Province; Jiangyin, Jiangsu Province; Chengdu, Sichuan Province and Beijing City.

Propack has been implementing the EHS FIRST concept since joining in Alcan Packaging in 2003. AP Propack's plants are accredited with ISO14001 & OHSAS 18001 certifications. We commit ourselves to excelling in environment, health and safety by constantly updating ideas, promoting comprehension and rewarding outstanding achievement. Our target is to attain the world-class level of environment and health and safety management, and apply all our employees and our surrounding communities.

Enterprise Resource Planning
Effective operation management and quality assurance systems are essential for a world class enterprise to survive. AP Propack has been expanding both our hardware and 'software' capabilities over the past few years. In 2002, our company started to use an enterprise resource planning (ERP) program to integrate all our operating processes and provide timely monitored checks to make sure the entire system is sufficiently controlled.
Research and Development (R&D) plays a key role in AP Propack. Today, almost all our products come from continuous research, development and innovation. In 2006, AP Propack has invested over RMB 5 million in establishing a new group-wide R&D laboratory. We have added equipment and apparatuses, such as infrared spectroscopes, differential scanning calorimeters (DSC), barrier apparatuses, gas chromatography apparatuses and others. We pay particular attention to combining theory and design to make cutting-edge packaging to customers. One of AP Propack's strategies is to strengthen our leadership in technical aspect through cooperation with Alcan Packaging headquarters as well as external professional bodies.
