RALEIGH, N.C. - Aug. 5, 2019 -Penn Clarke has been named partner at the commercial real estate law firm, Longleaf Law Partners, which he joined in 2018 after practicing at a large international law firm. Clarke routinely advises clients in transactions involving the acquisition, financing, development and sale of multi-family (traditional and student housing), retail, office, warehouse and mixed-use matters.

A substantial portion of his practice focuses on representing landlords and tenants in preparing and negotiating leases for retail, office, industrial/warehouse and medical office properties. Clarke currently represents landlords in the leasing of their portfolios totaling more than two and a half million square feet and spanning more than two dozen buildings and shopping centers.

In 2019 Clarke was recognized by Business North Carolina's Legal Elite in the categories of Real Estate and Young Guns. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and earned his J.D. from Washington and Lee University School of Law.
