The outgoing President, Elizabeth Schwartz of Merrick, handed the gavel of leadership to Merrick Slater, also of Merrick.

The mission of Toastmasters is to empower individuals to become more effective communicators and leaders. We do this by providing a supportive and positive learning experience in which members are empowered to develop communication and leadership skills resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth.
