Aiding Survival:MMP International Provides Vocational Training to Underprivileged Children in Uganda

St. Petersburg, United States, July 25,2019- Children in the different poverty-stricken countries around the globe constantly struggle to acquire and fulfill the basic necessities of life. The situation is no different in Uganda, even though the country successfully declined the number of people living below the national poverty line from 31.1% in 2006 to 19.7% in 2013, there’s still a long way to go.

Witnessing this struggle and dejection in the country 4 years ago, Judy Grim, the founder of Missions Made Possible International, took on the mission to help the underprivileged and orphan children in Uganda not only survive, but prosper in life.

Two representatives of the organization, Judy Grim herself and Richard Dunn, are volunteering at the Nabembezi Primary School in Mityana Town, Uganda and are assisting the headmaster of the school, Mr. Daniel Kato, run the operations.

A spokesperson of MMP International states that, “The Nabembezi Primary School has over 400 students and more than a 100 of these children are orphans. They come from poor families and backgrounds and don’t have the skills required to thrive in life.

“When our founder, Judy Grim, saw this while visiting Uganda, she became determined to help these children out. We decided that the best way we could prepare them to overcome the struggles that come their way is to provide them vocational training.”

Missions Made Possible International is providing the students at the primary school in Uganda excellent sewing, agriculture and art classes.

The sewing class includes both, children and women, and teaches them the skills to make clothes. During the agriculture class, students are taught how they can grow their own food. Lastly, art classes are being conducted to help children who possess artistic abilities further their skills.

The aim of this program is to help the children in Uganda develop the skills through which they can fulfill basic necessities and prosper in life.

Parties interested in becoming a part of MMP International’s mission can sponsor a child or contribute to the funds of schools in Uganda by connecting with the organization via their official website.
