In spite of their differences, there's an attraction to each other that won't be denied, and the tension between them could jeopardize the whole case. Can they keep their clothes on long enough to find the missing Aura and save Ceres from outside forces?
When asked about the inspiration behind this story, Williams noted, "My latest novel was truly a story I'd been wanting to write for a very long time. It's a magical suspense romance that features what I believe to be realistic portrayals of Characters of Color. As an avid reader I never really found books in the paranormal romance genre that had black characters or black female leads. I wrote "Ferocious" to fill that gap for myself and other readers of color."
