Sensei Jeven Moravick Of Shoshinkan Dojo Presents Budosai 20 Martial Arts Workshop Nov 6th - 8th

Begining November 6th-8th, the Shoshinkan Dojo in Las Vegas will host the Budosai 20 workshop allowing those interested in martial arts to participate in a variety of different styles.

In a non-competitive environment, the Budosai 20 workshop is a unique event providing the opportunity to participate in a variety of different martial arts and styles in a single venue. The workshop is an ideal introduction for new comers to the martial arts as well as experienced students and instructors alike.

Budosai 20 welcomes beginners and veterans alike and it is a great opportunity for anyone considering taking a martial art class but not sure where to start. This is a chance to train with top-level instructors around the world. This event is also great for martial artists who want to learn more about the difference and similarities of your style versus others. We welcome graduates or instructors interested in sharing their knowledge with others and committed to teaching.

Our guest instructors are excellent, ranging in rank from 2nd to 9th degree black belt. Although the practice schedule may vary, it generally includes instruction in Aikido, Jujitsu, Karate, Kung Fu, Tai Chi, Judo, weapons work, Shiatsu, Yoga and more.

Sensei Jeven Moravick is the owner and head instructor at Shoshikan Dojo working along side with Sensei Dave O’Donnell and Sensei Pablo Gonzalez. Shoshinkan Dojo offers Karate, Judo, Aikido, Ukemi classes located at 4450 N. Tenaya Way, #135, Las Vegas, NV 89128.

Sensei Jeven extended credits includes: Graduated Shodan in 1988, and began his formal teacher-training, attaining title of Doshi a year later. Attending all TBCI National and Regional Budo courses between 1982 and 92 afforded him the opportunity to study with master instructors Alfred Bates, George Stobbaerts, Robert Bamban, M. Michiels, Pierre Chalmange, Stephane Goffin, and Shijo Nishio.

During the same period, sensei Jeven participated in numerous charitable demonstrations and exhibitions, including the first world Butoku Sai of the Dai Nippon Black Belt Society hosted October '98 in Norfolk, Virginia.

Teaching Appointments
·1988: Developed and taught twelve-week self-defense course for single-parent organization, reviewed and approved by the special police group.

Shoshikan is offering this unique opportunity to share participation in several different arts all in one place in a weekend. Suggested donation for Budosai event is $25 for a single day or $35 for the weekend. Advanced reservations is required.
