BANGALORE, India -- Mumbai, August, 2015. MISB Bocconi and Jigsaw Academy today announce the opening of the admission process for the second batch of Executive Program in Business Analytics (EPBA) that is expected to start on October 23rd, 2015.
Earlier this year MISB Bocconi and Jigsaw Academy launched an Executive Program in Business Analytics (EPBA), a Big Data analytics program for professionals at Bocconi University’s first and only offshore campus in Powai, Mumbai. The inaugural batch began on 21st of March, with 23 students. The students were carefully selected after a stringent selection process which included multiple rounds of interviews. “The first batch of students we selected came from diverse backgrounds and with varying years of experience. The MISB Bocconi EPBA is the first long term Big Data analytics program in India that has been designed specifically for working professionals who want to earn an international certification while continuing to work. Using not only conventional tools, but also Big Data techniques, the program aims at providing in-depth Big Data analytics knowledge that is most sought after by the industry, like predictive modeling, data mining, Big Data analytics, marketing, operations and risk analytics, among other analytics areas. The curriculum is focused on the present needs of the industry, while also preparing the participants for leadership roles in the future.
One of the key highlights of the program is that participants will be taught and mentored by renowned international faculty from SDA Bocconi and Bocconi University in Milan, Italy, as well as analytics experts from Jigsaw Academy, in a blended learning model.

The program involves a total of 280+ hours of training including 120 hours of in-person training to be held over six (6) three-day modules at the MISB Bocconi campus in Powai, Mumbai. In the interim, Jigsaw Academy will also conduct twenty four (24) live online classes of two and a half (2.5) hours each for a total of sixty (60) hours which participants can attend from their home, office, or any other convenient location using an Internet connection. In addition to the live online and in-person classes, participants will also have access to over 100 hours of pre-recorded video lectures on data science and Big Data analytics for a period of twelve (12) months.
