Community Change Agent Promotes Entrepreneurship in South Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES -- Inter-Agency Council will present an interactive small business workshop on Saturday, June 6, 2015 from 1:30 to 3:30 pm at the Baldwin Hills Branch Library, where participants will learn to envision and design their properous future.

Among the topics to be addressed are:

*top businesses to start for under $100

*key success factors to profitable entrepreneurship

*free tools and resources to support small business owners

The workshop will be led by Sonya Kay Blake, President & CEO of Inter-Agency Council and former President & CEO of the National Association of Women Business Owners Los Angeles Chapter. "Now, more than ever, women are hungry for the self-expression and financial freedom that entrepreneurship can offer. Yet, the path to profitability remains shrouded by confusion."

This will be the first of four annual workshops anticipated to serve the 28 neighborhoods of South Los Angeles with inspiring success stories, information, and tools to promote profitable self-employment and small business ownership.
