Industrial Environmental Coalition Orange County to host CA Drought: Impact, Forecast & Planning

COSTA MESA, Calif. -- The Industrial Environmental Coalition of Orange County (IEC/OC) will host a luncheon seminar titled “California Drought: Impact, Forecast and Planning” for businesses, agencies, residents and community members on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at the Atrium Hotel in Irvine, Calif. Registration starts at 11:30a.m.

Confirmed speakers include Cathy Green, President, Orange County Water District Board of Directors and Andre Villasenor, Sustainability Coordinator, U.S. EPA. Invited speakers are Raymond Jay, Sr., Resource Specialist, Water Resources Mgmt Group, Metropolitan Water District and William Steele, U.S. Bureau of Reclamation.

“California is into its fourth consecutive year of drought, a situation where wise measures need to be considered and taken, and this luncheon seminar is a vehicle to bring noted water experts, water purveyors, water users, concerned citizens and agencies together to discuss best next steps,” commented Bob Rost, president of the IEC/OC board of directors.

Tickets for the luncheon may be purchased on the IEC/OC website at www.iecoc.net under the Register for Upcoming Events tab. Members and non-members of IEC/OC are invited to attend.
