West Coast Hip Hop Is Alive And Well

PORTER RANCH, Calif. -- True to form, Timothy Rhyme shows off his word play on his new single "Dirty Thirty." Utilizing experiences as a new resident of Los Angeles, while reflecting on grinding it out in his hometown Sacramento, CA, Timothy Rhyme pens thirty bars for whom it may concern. Timothy's raw lyricism may hurt some feelings, but it also provides a window into the honestly he's able to capture with his music. Teaming up with Boston-based producer Phil The Pain, the chemistry is evident. Having just worked on a new track with Termanology, Phil The Pain’s beats tend to only be dealt with by lyrical heavyweights.

Being new to the city, Timothy Rhyme decided to shoot the video Downtown Los Angeles in the heart of the arts district. The SoCal Impalas N Caprices Car Club rolled out 30 deep to welcome Timothy Rhyme to the area and show off for the camera. Shot and directed by Tim Gadient.
