Officer Cadets of the Army Opt for Indian Military Review

NEW DELHI, India -- After careful comparison and due diligence, all 1099 Gentlemen Cadets, under training at the prestigiuos Indian Military Academy at Dehradun (the equivalent of West Point, USA) have opted to order a paid annual subscription to Indian Military Review (IMR) from November 2014.

IMR is the top professional military magazine in India and is already available over the counter from all 500 Army Post Offices (APOs).

Defense News USA is the exclusive partner of IMR and provides relevant content in every issue. Defense News weekly has the biggest defence newsroom in the world and a vast network of reporters across the globe.

IMR is edited by Maj Gen (Dr) GD Bakshi and Maj Gen Ravi Arora is the Chief Editor.

550 cadets will be commissioned into the Army on 13 December 2014 and another 549 will be commissioned on 13 June 2015, all of whom have subscribed to IMR.

Earlier, the United Service Instituion of India (USI) had recommended IMR for all officers preparing for promotion exams and competitive Staff College entrance exams.

IMR is alo available in Hindi.

IMR Media, the publishers of IMR, also organise eight defence conferences and exhibitions every year in India.
