Fueled by an aggressive growth plan and the expansion of its aerospace, oil and gas, and automotive manufacturing capacity, Aequs (formerly known as QuEST Global Manufacturing) will hire 400 additional skilled employees by the end of September next year.
Aequs will deploy 240 (60%) of the new employees as shop-floor and machine operators, 20 (5%) as managers, and 140 (35%) in staff and supervisory roles.
Prime Minister Modi launched the “Make in India” campaign to highlight the manufacturing sector’s criticality to India’s economic success. Riding at the forefront of this national initiative, Aequs is growing its machining businesses 50% YoY and expects to continue this trajectory as the fast-growing aerospace, oil and gas, and automotive components manufacturing sectors open up huge opportunities for skilled employees.

While Aequs recruits its employees nationally, the company has focused on recruiting from the north Karnataka, Bangalore, and Pune regions - key aerospace and manufacturing hubs with readily available skilled employees. Aerospace machining, aerostructures assembly, special processing, and forging are key skill areas for which Aequs recruits.
