ALAMO, Calif. -- I currently have one American version 3DS console, and I resolved to move up in size to the New 3DS LL or 3DS XL. I really like the new 3DS packaging and the larger screen.I'm going to Japan soon, so I'll use that chance to pick one up. My friends recommend me to buy a 3ds flashcart, with this card, you will be able to play ds games, and it also has additional features such as watching your favorite movie, video, browsing photographs, listening to music and reading e books.

From what I've read, currently the nintendo 3ds system version is 8.1.0-19, so I have to buy the correct r4i model which supports the latest firmware. It looks like that both r4i-gold por card and r4isdhc dual core card received a lot of positive feedbacks on emulating ds games, and they have a great team constantly working on and updating them. Just noticed that the official team released the latest 3.5b kernel on their website, some bugs have been fixed, and users will be able to receive more support and play new games.

My friends also recommended me the US based site to buy r4i sdhc dual core card,http://www.r4is.com/r4i-sdhc-dual-core-3ds-flash-cart-for... ordered last week and received my cart three days later afer I placed my order. It worked great on my old 3ds console, will test it on my new 3ds xl console soon i think.
