GSI hosts Jewellers for Hope

Mumbai, August 2014: Gemological Science International (GSI) hosted “Jewellers for Hope” charity dinner in association with GJEPC, at the Grand Hyatt, Mumbai 2014. Leading bollywood celebrities Kajol, Boman Irani, Siddharth Roy Kapur graced the evening hosted by Raageshwari Sachdeva-Badola in the presence of the whose-who of the gems & jewellery trade. The event honoured Make-a-wish Foundation, a charitable foundation whose main objective is to grant the wishes of children with life threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.

“Jewellers for Hope” is the industry’s charity and by being involved we are helping to make a difference in the lives of the children and their families, said Mark Gershburg, CEO, GSI. In association with GJEPC, GSI is proud to support and celebrate the meaningful partnership for a good cause.

Mr. Mark Gershburg, CEO, GSI also expressed, “We have a long tradition of social responsibility and reflected by its long-term commitment with “Jewelers for Children”. We believe that we require little time and effort to make a big difference. There is a need for the gem and jewellery industry to come forth with generous contributions for such noble causes and I am grateful and glad to be a part of this.”
