Leading Administrative Professionals -Administrative Professionals Week - IAAP Event

ST. LOUIS -- Each spring IAAP® St. Louis Chapter presents a professional development workshop which is open to the public.

Sessions are held that will provide the attendees with a wealth of information and knowledge beneficial in furthering their business careers and for those who are looking to find additional education seminars for expanding your portfolio, this is an excellent opportunity. Each of our sessions presented in this spring workshop have been approved through IAAP for one recertification point and a certificate indicating your attendance will be provided at the end of the workshop. Attending programs like this demonstrate your desire to stay up-to-date on current business practices putting you ahead of the game in today's competitive hiring market.

The workshop will be held Saturday, April 12, 2014 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Energizer facilities in St. Louis County (Missouri). The program will consist of two in-person sessions and one webinar. Registration for the first two sessions will include the opportunity to stay for the webinar as it is presented live at no additional cost. The webinar is also priced separately for those who cannot join us in person.

Marie Herman, CAP-OM, ACS, who has over 20 years of experience as an administrative professional and efficiency consultant, will be the presenter for all three sessions. Ms. Herman has conducted many workshops at the IAAP International Education Forum and Annual Meetings on topics ranging from developing a strong website to leading a strategic planning workshop to organization tips.

The live workshops will be Becoming the Renaissance Employee and Social Media for Career Advancement. The webinar will be Top Ten Tips and Tricks for Office 2010.
