WHAT: Tommy Rocker and Sin City Presents Magazine to host a showcase of local bands and entertainers to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Tommy Rockers in Las Vegas. Local musicians are invited to submit their profile information for consideration to compete in this unique event. A total of 5 acts will be selected to compete on each of the competition dates. This monthly event will be held on the second Friday of each month April through August 2014. Monthly winners will be invited to return to compete in a grand finale event on October 10th for a grand prize package. A portion of the proceeds from each event will benefit Project 150 a local non-profit organization that assists homeless, displaced and disadvantaged students. About Project 150: Our Mission is to offer support and services to homeless high school students in the Las Vegas area so they can stay in school through graduation and learn the life skills necessary to be successful. Project 150 helps over 1,100 students in 34 high school and one in Reno.
