SAN FRANCISCO -- Blackstone Technology Group, a global IT services and solutions company announces today that Patrick James, 22-year professional services and operations veteran, has been appointed Chief Operations Officer.

In this appointment, James will be responsible for all major shared operational functions for the company including information technology, employee recruiting, employee professional development, and global marketing. He also continues to focus on driving Blackstone’s strategic direction and future growth as a member of the executive leadership team.
James joined Blackstone in 2012 as Director of Operations. Before joining Blackstone, he spent 11 years with Deloitte, consulting on financial and retail system implementations, business strategy and operations projects. James also worked for 9 years advising startup companies on building the infrastructure to deploy in-house professional and managed services. James earned a M.B.A from Saint Mary’s College of Moraga and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of New Mexico.
