AusPak International and RMT hosts Australian High Commissioner at Study in Australia Workshop

AusPak International and RMT Enterprises today organized Study in Australia Information Session where Australian High Commissioner HE Peter Hayward was the chief guest.

The High Commissioner in his address said that he was pleased that more than 10,000 Pakistani students are currently studying in Australia, making Australia as one of the more most popular study destination among Pakistani students. He said he hoped that this number would continue to grow, as more Pakistani students become aware of the high-quality educational opportunities provided by Australian institutions.

The High Commissioner said that he was ‘personally delighted to see the expansion of educational linkages between Australia and Pakistan’ which was part of a much broader and deeper engagement between the two countries in recent years.

The workshop which was aimed at providing insight into the Australian Education attended by institutional heads and counselors Representatives from more than 50 prestigious schools and college including principals, teachers and students were present to attend the workshop who were very enthusiastic to attend the event.

In addition to private students choosing Australia for their studies, the Australian Government also offers a variety of education, research and professional development opportunities through almost 100 scholarships for study in Australia under the Australian Awards and through University scholarship programmes.

Azhar Shah the Australian trade commissioner gave a presentation about unlimited study opportunities that Austral offers followed by a detailed presentation by immigration officials about student visa.
