SONOMA, Calif. -- Roy Hassett is not new to the art scene in fact Roy has been drawing , painting and creating art as long as he can remember..

He has now just completed a new collection of 40 paintings of the Black Madonna.

The paintings will soon be available for those to see up close at varies galleries throughout the USA and Europe.

Mr. Hassett wanted to be able to give us all a glimpse of what he has created and his spiritual journey along the way when painting and researching the Black Madonna.

When talking to Roy, he explains that these images are something he feels he needs to show the world and is soon to be going on his own pilgrimage in search of all the places he has painted in his images of the Black Madonna, most of the locations are located within France and some are so underground and not spoken of until now .

Roy can often be found painting , traveling , journaling and running the "The largest agency for carnivals west of the Mississippi."

He recently published his first book available on Amazon titled "The Talker - The Life and times of showman Bobby Reynolds."

The book was a fun project for Mr.Hassett as he loves to journal his own life day to day in his collection of countless journals.. Including illustration's of his life along the way!

I have seen a few so I can tell you that its a very nice concept because he paints pictures in his words.

He has even inspired me to start journaling and illustrating my journeys .

A man well traveled , accomplished artist and creator of events that are iconic throughout the USA is how I would describe Roy Hassett.
