World Religions class open for public

Washoe County Community Education, a collaborative venture of Truckee Meadows Community College (TMCC) and Washoe County School District, is offering class on “World Religions”, which is open to the public.

All are welcome to sign-up for “World Religions” (CR155C/18552), five sessions class taught from six to nine pm on Tuesdays, starting January 14,at TMCC Meadowood Center, Room S324, 5270 Neil Road, Reno. Tuition is $169 with discount available for seniors.

Besides classical religions of Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism, Judaism, Baha’ism, Confucianism, Taoism, Shinto, Jainism, Zoroastrianism; it will also discuss Native American spirituality and Atheism. Well known religious statesman Rajan Zed will teach with experts of various religions joining as guest speakers.
