DELHI/NCR, India -- To provide the awareness in the developing fields of Technology & Management, Cyber Times International Journal of Technology & Management has organized CTICon-2013, an International Conference on “Exploring Global Transformations in Technology & Management” on Dated: 14th December 2013, at ‘College of Engineering’ Pune, India.

The conference was sponsored by Sedulity Solutions & Technologies (Leader in Cyber Security Era), and Technically Co-Sponsored by CSI (Computer Society of India) Division-1. It was Co-Sponsored by Protect 2014 Philippines, EC-Council, USA, Cyber Magazine, Tilak Maharashtra University-Pune, Arizona Infotech, and IDBI Bank.

The conference inaugurated with a “Lamp Lightening Session” by Guest of Honor Dr. Sanjay Shinde, (DCP Pune Police EOW), Dr. Jagannath V. Aghav (HOD CE & IT, COEP), Dr. Kalpana S. Gupte (Regional Director, IGNOU Pune), Dr. Anup Girdhar, (Editor-in-Chief, Cyber Times) and Mr. Mukul Girdhar, (Editor, Cyber Times).

Followed by felicitation of all the Eminent and Honorable guests, Dr. Sanjay Shinde (DCP Pune Police, EOW) enlighten current and upcoming challenges in the ‘Cyber Space’ and recommend that researchers should work upon them. After that Dr. Jagannath V. Aghav and Dr. Kalpana Gupte addressed the audience with their thoughts on current scenarios of Cyber Space and the problems rising up due to that. Dr. Gupte also recommends that people working on computers should enrol themselves in various Information Security programs offered by IGNOU like PGDIS & ACISE, where “Sedulity Solutions & Technologies” provides an outstanding support for conducting the Counselling Sessions.

After that the conference was followed by ‘JOURNAL LAUNCH’ of “Cyber Times International Journal of Technology & Management Vol.6 Issue 2” by the Guest of Honour Dr Dr. Sanjay Shinde, (DCP Pune Police EOW), Dr. Jagannath V. Aghav (HOD CE & IT, COEP), Dr. Kalpana S. Gupte (Regional Director, IGNOU Pune), along with Dr. Anup Girdhar, (Editor-in-Chief, Cyber Times) and Mr. Mukul Girdhar, (Editor, Cyber Times).

After the journal launch, Mr. Sandeep Godbole (President ISACA, Pune Chapter) gave an outstanding presentation on ‘Cyber Security and its Challenges’ from the rising Cyber Crimes from social networking view point.

After, the Plenary session hosted by Mr. Sandeep Godbole (President ISACA, Pune Chapter), there was a Panel Discussion held to address the current issues of Cyber Laws which was headed by Advocate Tushar Kale (Cyber Lawyer, Mumbai High Court), along with Dr. Anup Girdhar (Cyber Crime Investigator & Cyber Security Consultant) and Mr. Mahesh Saptarshi (Technical Director, Symantec). The theme of the Panel discussion was “Cyber Crime: Laws and Prevention” and it was mostly enjoyed by the audience as they got an opportunity to ask the questions from the experts on One-O-One basis related to Indian Cyber Laws from the jurisdiction point of view related to day-to-day life.

The Conference then followed by the Paper Presentations chaired by Advocate Tushar Kale, Dr Anup Girdhar, and Dr. Rajesh S. Prasad, where the authors talked about their innovations through paper presentations. After that, the conference followed by the Plenary session hosted by Mr. Mahesh Saptarshi, (Technical Director, Symantec) on the topic ‘Cyber Security: Clear and Present Danger’.

The main attraction of the conference was the Hands-on-Practical Workshop on Ethical Hacking conducted by Dr. Anup Girdhar (CEO-Founder, Sedulity Solutions & Technologies) and his team members which was appreciated the most by all the conference participants. The conference enjoyed the Audience from different Corporate, Govt. Departments, and Universities across the globe and they really enjoyed the sessions delivered by all the Eminent Speakers during the CTICon-2013.

The conference was concluded by Dr. Anup Girdhar, (Editor-in-Chief, Cyber Times) at the end, who graced the event and thanks all the Guest of Honor, Chair Persons, Authors, Sponsors and the Participants for their valuable contribution during CTICon-2013.
