AHMEDABAD, India -- Amicor, with new technological innovation using the chemistry of Sanitized anti-bacterial and anti-fungal additives will be on show at the upcoming Heimtextil 2014 exhibition to be held in Messe Frankfurt from Jan 8th-11th (Hall 8 stand H34).
The Amicor anti-bacterial and anti-fungal intelligent fiber – integrated technology was developed by Courtaulds/Acordis (UK) in 1998. The technology is specifically designed to incorporate the functional antimicrobial additive into the core of the fiber.
Amicor is an intelligent anti-microbial fibre. Due to the unique fibre structure, the additives are diffused slowly - providing long lasting protection inside beds, bedding, furnishings and carpets. Amicor comes in various forms and they deliver a variety of effects and benefits for the end user.
The additive is added to the fiber polymer before it is spun, containing it within the unique fiber structure rather than acting as a surface coating. When Amicor fiber is used at the recommended blend level it ensures durable and effective protection of the entire fabric.
Amicor technology has long been a tried, tested and trusted antimicrobial fibre technology, renowned for its durability and effectiveness.
