Ana Fau, in close association with The Chicago Music Academy is proud to launch the Around the World in 80 Concerts International Arts Festival. The festival will open on December 7th, 2013 (Saturday) at 6:00 p.m. at the new concert hall of the Piano Forte Foundation, 1335 South Michigan Ave, Chicago IL. International pianist Ana Fau will perform on this opening concert. She will take the audience on a journey from Russia to Spain, and France, finally landing in Argentina. The concert will feature music by Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff, Granados, Lecuona and Ginastera.

The Around the World in 80 Concerts festival allows people to travel to other places without leaving Chicago. The festival gives the audience a unique cultural experience which centers on music, but also includes the arts, geography, and cuisine. It strives to educate them about other countries using the universal language of arts, to enrich them culturally, and open minds and hearts to different societies.

Ana Fau is an Argentine-American pianist who has recorded extensively for WFMT radio in Chicago. She has toured extensively throughout Europe, North America, South America and Russia.

Following the performance, there will be a fashion show presenting Chicago-based designer Ignatius Medina. The event will also feature a multi-media presentation created by Datamash.
