An Evening Of Fashion & Culture To Benefit The Secret Sandy Claus Project

Brooklyn, NY - In less than one week art, fashion, and culture lovers will gather at Under Minerva Art Gallery, (656 5th Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11215), to feast the senses while benefiting the Secret Sandy Claus Project for American Disaster Relief.

An Evening of Fashion & Culture will feature the art exhibition, Paris in Brooklyn, curated by gallery owners Chris Achong and Yeni, and previewing the works of Jamaican artist, Parris Jaru before his show officially opens there on December 8th.

Fashion lovers can expect a pop-up presentation from fashion and accessories designers including Mel Simon, Rean Fisher, Churchill England, and JOE, giving an up-close look at some of the merchandise that will be sold on the new FCN – The Fashion & Culture Network, an online store that aims to carry more than clothing and accessories.

Rounding out the evening will be the soulful sounds of Indian vocalist, ZEFFeREEN, who will be making his New York debut since moving here from Dubai.

Contribution for An Evening of Fashion & Culture is $20 with an Unwrapped Toy or $30 Without A Toy, (https://www.wepay.com/events/an-evening-of-fashion-culture). Part proceeds go to support the Secret Sandy Claus Project, where, according to Michael Sciaraffo, Founder, “the most requested toys for the younger crowd has been Lego sets and Arts & Craft/Makeup/Dress Up Kits. We really need help too with those over 14-15. They ask for iTunes gift cards, clothing gift cards, Xbox video games. But any donations will be fine of course.” Sciaraffo also added, “Plus we could always use donations of Santa suits and Elf costumes. Or people can donate money for gas and tolls at www.gofundme.com/sandyclaus or Sign up to be Santas and Elves of their own at www.secretsandyclausproject.org.”

What a way to be a blessing and enjoy an evening of networking in the holiday spirit for a cause. Complimentary treats for the event will be provided by the Tiki Village Cultural Center.

An Evening of Fashion & Culture is a collaboration of JLC PRODUCTIONS, The Olympianz and Unforbidden Events. For more information please call 718.788.0170 or 678 744 3122 or email: info@jlcpr.net
