Injaz Launche The Sixth Business Leaders Campaign

INJAZ is launching its SIXTH Business Leaders Campaign (BLC 2013) that aims to inspire and prepare Jordanian youth, with Addustour newspaper as media sponsor. BLC was first launched in 2008 under the patronage of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah, as a pioneering initiative, that aims to inspire and motivate our youth to succeed and realize their dreams by giving them the opportunity to interact with successful local role models.

The campaign does that through engaging business and social leaders of key companies and organizations with schools around the Kingdom, allowing them to share their knowledge and experience with the students. More than 130 leaders will be participating this year’s exceptional program to share their success stories with more than 6,500 students.

The BLC sessions gain their high impact from the direct and open interaction between the students and the business leaders. It is indeed extremely inspirational to listen to the story of people who have fought their way to become successful business professionals. At the same time, students ask questions making the sessions interactive and engaging making the experience truly eye-opening to the students.

Since 2008, the campaign has engaged over 330 leading Jordanian business and social leaders having a direct and positive impact on the lives of around 18,000 students throughout the Kingdom. The campaign proved that Jordan’s business leaders can play a key role in inspiring our students, transferring relevant knowledge and narrowing the existing skills gap.

INJAZ first started in 1999 as a USAID funded program and in 2001 it became an independent non-profit Jordanian organization under the patronage of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah with the mission of inspiring and preparing young Jordanians to become productive members in their society and succeed in the global economy. Since its inception, INJAZ has successfully reached over 850,000 beneficiaries across the kingdom through its network of dedicated more than 22.000 volunteers and its partners from the private, public, and civic society sectors. INJAZ is also a member of Junior Achievement Worldwide.
