NORWOOD, Mass. -- Advance Thermal Solutions recently exhibited at Arrowfest 2013: Powered by Vistion Series in Boston, MA on Octber 24th. The annual industry event is the perfect venue for engineering professionals to discover the latest technical innovations, while building valuable relationships with leading manufacturers and Arrow representatives. This year's Arrowfest was held in conjunction with Arrow's popular Vision Series. Coupling the two events enabled more technically-driven seminars and more hands-on training for those in attendance. The event was highly attended and held at the Tsongas Center at UMass Lowell.

In keeping with Arrowfest 2013's technology focus, Arrow exhibited their forthcoming maxiFLOW Heat Sinks for Cooling DC-DC Converters. The brick DC-DC converter heat sinks are planned to offer a range of fin patterns, directions and profiles to match different height and weight restrictions and airflow patterns. All of these heat sinks will have a gold anodized finish. Heat sink surface anondization increases the emissivity coefficient on the anodized surfaces of heat sinks enhancing their radiation heat transfer. Each heat sink, on product release, will be provided pre-assembled with a layer of industry leading phase change thermal interface material to enhance heat transfer from brick to heat sink. The heat sinks are planned to be released with three sets of screws in lengths of 5, 6 and 8 mm for varied attachment situations. The heat sinks pre-drilled hole patterns will fit all major DC-DC converter designs.
