The mixtape will feature exclusive production from Producers Trak Girl (Tiffany Evans, Omarion,) and KB Da Beatgoddess. New records will be premiered from 2x Grammy nominee Torica (Field Mob "Sick of Being Lonely", New single "Play Dumb" on iTunes now), Kiyana (Break out single “Take Me Away” reached the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip Hop charts), Bambi (VH1's Basketball Wives LA), Tiffany Foxx (New Era Agency), Sylver Karatz (Yo Gotti's CMG), Stacey Paris (World Hits Music), Tarvoria (Feel Good Muzik Group, Street Couture Album in stores now), Young B (Featured artist on DJ WebStar's smash single "Chicken Noodle Soup"), Chloe Riley (Slip N Slide Records), Mika Means, Nina Blanka, and more artist to be announced!
When asked what the motivation behind this project is, a rep from the CRC DJ’s stated: "This mixtape is dedicated to the independent ladies that are currently changing the game in Hip Hop/ R&B. #CRCAPPROVED is the new stamp that will be a representation of records that meet or exceed the CRC DJs standard of quality to present to the collective audience via club, mixtape, web, or radio format.
October is also national Breast Cancer Awareness Month in the United States. In support of this, DJ Honey B & theCRC DJs will also feature a PSA on the mixtape dedicated to Breast Cancer Awareness in effort to spread the word and encourage women to stay informed about the most common cancer among women in the United States.
