region; by opening a new shop at Dubai Mall

In a step that reinforces its aggressive expansion strategy across the GCC countries, AXA Insurance Gulf – one of the largest and the leading non-life international insurers in the region – recently announced the opening of its new AXA Shop at Dubai Mall.

The shop situated on the Lower Ground level and close to Waitrose offers a strategic and accessible location to their customers and a multitude of individual products, including home, motor, travel, healthcare insurance and very soon SME products.

Jérôme Droesch, CEO of AXA Insurance Gulf, said: “At AXA, we redefine standards. Our new shop at one of the most prominent landmarks in the world’s fastest growing city is a testimony of our aggressive vision and strategy – to become the preferred insurance company in the GCC. This shop will offer better access to our customers at the best experience.”

AXA is looking at expanding aggressively its multi access distribution model, notably the AXA Shops. “We now have over 20 shops in the region and planning to open 10 more before the end of the year. Our success is mainly attributed to our efforts to respond to our customers’ expectations and we are very grateful to our clients, partners and shareholders for their trust,” added Mr. Droesch.
