The commands of rolling and “action” could be heard at Boca Raton Resort and Beach Club (a Waldorf Astoria Resort) as the elegant setting proved to be the ideal location to film Functional Fitness with Suzanne Andrews. This season, Andrews releases a much-anticipated episode on Breast Cancer Therapy. Filmed in the opulent Palazzo Spa, Occupational Therapist, Julie Thompson and teacher, Michelle Oh, round out the expert cast in this dream-like setting. An indepspendible tool in the fight against breast cancer: candles, soft music and Suzanne's gentle, guiding voice provide solace for those battling this dreaded disease.
In addition, important health episodes were filmed on Osteoporosis Back Strength and Stretch, featuring Certified Health Coach Alina Z and a Lymphedema Therapy episode with Lymphedema Specialist and Occupational Therapist, Julie Thompson. Suzanne Andrews, a licensed rehab therapy clinician, teamed up with Laurie London, certified health counselor, to provide an exciting workout for the Mother of the Bride episode in the Mizner Center. As in previous Functional Fitness episodes, viewers are provided varying levels of the exercises to match their own abilities. Andrews attention to guide viewers with life enhancing exercises at their current level and then gradually improve at their own pace showcasing magnificent locations across North America is what makes this series stand out.
