AUGUSTA, Ga. -- If you have ever talked about how you love your gospel and holy hip hop music then you should not miss “Sunday In The Park” a free community concert on on September 08, 2013 from 1:00 p.m.to 6:00 p.m. at Pendelton King Park in the Franke Pavilion located at 1600 Troupe Street, Augusta, Georgia, 30904. This event will feature various Christian independent recording artist.
“Sunday In The Park” is being presented by Freed Souls, a community outreach organization with the intent to give something positive back to the general public by sharing the universal language of love through music. “There will not only be free music but we will also give away free food, clothes and prizes,” states BM Snowden one of the event organizers. “Meeting people with a message of hope in music is a big part of what we do but we also know some people are struggling on various levels and some extra food and clothing could make a difference for at least that day or moment,” she adds. According to Snowden, there will also be information available regarding various resources that includes jobs and social services.
Expect to hear some really, really, good music from local recording artist including holy hip hop artist Shaudy P. and gospel recording artist Appointed as well as a couple of recording artist from One Nation Under GOD Records an Augusta, Georgia based Christian record label and a "Sunday In The Park" sponsor. There will also be a few other surprise guest.
