Health Inn Internet TV Interviews Stephen Blake DVM July 1 on Hypothyroidism In Pets

CARY, N.C. -- "I wonder, do pets get the same diseases as their owners?" ~ Debby Bruck

Debby Bruck highlights important health and environmental issues and invites experts to teach viewers what they may not hear from mainstream media. For many people, their pets are a part of the family, but owners do not realize how best to protect them from disease and specifically thyroid dysfunction. Many culprits may be found around the home, garden and maybe even at the veterinarian's office.

Following up on the recent Health Inn Show on Hypothyroidism as a major epidemic in humans and the devastating effects on the lives of women, we learn that pets also suffer from this disorder. Dr Blake, DVM the "Pet Whisperer" explains what he has found in the world of animals and the interaction with our toxic environment. Do you know what you are feeding your pets?

We will get a bird's eye view of the thyroid gland. Learn how it functions, why it is necessary to support all the cells in the body and the potential havoc that can occur to the skin, heart, hair, nerves and eyes, etc of an animal when the hormone levels are not properly balanced.

Do you have questions to ask? Join us live. I'm interested to know if certain breeds of dogs are more susceptible to hypothyroidism? Are there certain foods to stay away from and others that are recommended? What drugs may be safely given to pets? Do pesticides, insecticides and fungicides affect our pets? When do we need to seek out a professional? Are pets more sensitive to hormone disruptors than humans? Can most people afford testing, treatment and medications? What will it take to keep our animals healthy? Will homeopathy or other alternative methods help?
