INDORE, India -- Parvati to take Durga roop in Devon ke Dev Mahadev

~ Durga to fight Durgasur in the Mahaepisode ~

Mumbai: Devon Ke Dev… Mahadev, the mythological epic has always depicted the victory of good over evil through each story and chapter. From Parvati’s Kali avatar to Mahadev fighting his own aansh Jallandhar, the show always proves that good will win over bad. On 23rd June, the Maha-Episode will showcase a battle between Maa Durga and a demon Durgasur who intends to conquer Kailash.

As Mahadev fulfils the wish of Rishi Vaishwanar and his wife, he takes birth in their family as the young Mahadev and leaves Kailash to let them experience the joy of parenthood. Meanwhile back in Kailash a fierce demon named Durgasur plans to attack Kailash. When Parvati becomes aware of Durgasur’s motives she informs Kartikeya about it. A furious Kartikeya prepares for the battle but Parvati informs him of the boon granted to Durgasur which makes him invincible when attempted to be killed by a man.

Parvati then incarnates as Kaalratri and meets Durgasur. She warns him that if he does not surrender then he will have to face the wrath of Parvati. Durgasur does not pay any heed to Kaalratri’s words. Parvati filled with rage and anger takes the form of Durga and kills Durgasur…

Fuming with wrath, Parvati takes the roop of Durga to slay demon Durgasur.
