Urban Art 2013 - London Tube Train sprayed in Brixton Streets

With over 200 exhibitors and thousands of pieces of work on show this annual event is a great opportunity for fans to meet artists face to face and browse a large range of creative work including street-art, painting, printmaking, photography and mixed media. Exhibitors range from the novice to the established and with prices to match this really is an event for all art lovers, whatever the budget.

This year's event will also feature a new Street Art area where twenty crews will be creating live pieces during the two days. As well as nine graffiti walls, the artists will also be spraying a life size London Tube Train to celebrate London Underground’s 150th anniversary. Artists booked so far include Mr Cenz, Cheo, Rmer, Solo, 3dom and Tizer One (most famous for 'blinging' Malcolm Mclaren's coffin).

To nourish the visitors senses even further they also promise a mouth watering selection of international food stalls, including Mexican, Indian, Caribbean and the Pangea Street Cafe (run by Ollie from Masterchef 2013).

As well as providing affordable exhibition space to new and upcoming artists, the event also raises money for local charities, so this is definitely an event worth supporting and a very enjoyable way of seeing some great art.
