A wig made of synthetic hair is made of man-made fibers and is a popular type of wig because it does not have to be styled after it's washed, it's less expensive than a human hair wig, it has more styles to choose from than a human hair wig does, and it won't deteriorate as quickly as a human hair wig will, unless heating devices are used to style it with.

3. How the cap of a wig is made determines the wigs styling capabilities and the look the wig will give. If the fibers are hand-tied and mesh is used, the wig will look more natural as the scalp will show through if a part is made.
