NASHVILLE, TN, January 30, 2024 - Thomas O'Keefe has been included in Marquis Who's Who. A seasoned tour manager with years of experience leading A-list artists worldwide, Mr. O'Keefe excels as the tour manager and accountant for the rock band "Weezer."
Previously, Mr. O'Keefe toured with many artists, including Sia, Mandy Moore, Vince Gill, Rockstar Supernova, Third Eye Blind, Dashboard Confessional, Train, Lustre, D-Generation, and Whiskeytown.
Alongside his work as a tour manager, he is an author, having written "Waiting to Derail, Ryan Adams and Whiskeytown, Alt Country's Brilliant Wreck" (Skyhorse Publishing 2018) This book covers the period of time Mr. O'Keefe worked with Whiskeytown, from 1997-2000.
Mr. O'Keefe also served as an adjunct professor with Segue 61 and leverages his expertise as a guest lecturer at the SAE Institute of Technology in Nashville. He is also a member of the Music Business Program Advisory Committee at the SAE Institute.
He started his career as the bass guitarist for the Charlotte, NC band "ANTiSEEN" playing on 37 different releases from the late 1980's to today.
He is also the guitarist in the rock duo "Judas Bullethead."
Before establishing himself as a tour manager for A-list entertainment, Mr. O'Keefe graduated from South Iredell High School and completed an online program at Dartmouth College.
In conjunction with his work, Mr. O'Keefe is a member of the Music Business Program Advisory Committee at the SAE Institute of Technology.
While his career has been filled with highlights, he takes the most pride in his family.
Though hard work and dedication have brought him far in his career, Mr. O'Keefe credits his success to observing successful individuals. Through his observations, he has been able to discern what strategies to employ in his work and which behaviors to avoid. Looking toward the future, he intends to write his second book, which will focus on the innate qualities of successful people.
