JEFFERSON CITY, MO, October 27, 2023 - This book goes beyond Albert's journey through adverse childhood experiences and explores a firsthand account using records obtained from social services and knowledge gained working in this field. As a Guardian ad Litem and former social services attorney, he demonstrates that there is much more to be done. Sadly, his story is not unique, but it is preventable. This book will aid practitioners and clinicians in becoming more effective, show survivors there is hope, and empower society to become more engaged.
