His company works with federal government agencies to give them a better understanding of the companies they are contracting with and whether they could be a potential adversary to the United States.

Prior to starting his private career, Mr. Benjamin served honorably in the United States Navy; he later went on to join the Army Reserve, where he became a Drill Sergeant, eventually ending up in Military Intelligence. He graduated from The Defense Language Institute in Monterey CA. which led to his role as a senior interrogator for Operation Enduring Freedom with the United States Army in 2002. He subsequently functioned as a THT team leader for Iraqi Freedom in 2003 for a year. He retired after 27 years of honorable service. In honor of his service, he volunteers as an outreach group lead for veterans and military families with his local church.

Following his military service, Mr. Benjamin worked as a Special Agent for the Department of Commerce, enforcing the export laws of the United States. Mr. Benjamin went on to become a supervisory special agent overseeing special agents working at locations in multiple countries. Mr. Benjamin became the unit chief for the National Security Division at the Department of Commerce. He provided tactical and strategic consulting and support to the Department of Defense, Inter-Agency, and other law enforcement agencies, retiring from this position in 2018.

Among his professional accomplishments, Mr. Benjamin received an award from the Department of Health and Human Services for his role in Operation Warp Speed. He has also earned a Silver Medal from the Department of Commerce for stopping the illicit use of dual use components that were found in improvised explosive devices in Iraq and Afghanistan. The Department of Commerce also awarded him with a Gold Medal in 2006 for disrupting Iranian improvised device procurement networks. In 2009 he again earned his second Gold Medal for the disruption of weapons of mass destruction terrorist procurement networks. He is most proud of his involvement in disrupting improvised explosives procurement networks and thwarting terrorist networks, saving the lives of American soldiers in the process.

Looking to the future, Mr. Benjamin intends to establish an organization that trains homeless individuals and those with low incomes in sustainable farming practices through hydroponics and aquaponics. His goal with this work is to provide individuals with skills to cultivate produce for their families and to produce a product that they can sell to restaurants and farmers' markets.
