TUCKER, GA, August 21, 2023 - Brian J. Strassner has been included in Marquis Who's Who. Having accrued more than two decades of expertise in his industry, Mr. Strassner joined Pieper Automation in 2022 as the automation lead design engineer. Among many responsibilities, he spends much time with the machine safety team, providing functional safety spec. expertise in support of the Pieper Automation machine safety group.
Based in New Berlin, Wisconsin, Pieper Automation is a division of Pieper Electric Inc., one of the largest electrical and automation contractors in the U.S. The company specializes in systems integration, control systems, custom machines, control panels, and engineered solutions and has opened a new branch in Georgia.
An experienced mechanical designer, Mr. Strassner has extensive expertise in the industrial automation industry. He is also very skilled in computer-aided design. Before joining Pieper Automation, he was employed by MESH Automation Inc., beginning as a lead assembly technician and subsequently as shop floor supervisor, manufacturing engineer, and mechanical designer. Additionally, Mr. Strassner had the opportunity to serve as a lead assembly technician and mechanical designer for MDC Engineering and Hooper Engineering.
Mr. Strassner graduated from Sarasota High School in Sarasota, Florida. He subsequently completed coursework at the University of Central Florida before earning an Associate of Arts degree at the State College of Florida Manatee- Sarasota. Adding to his credentials, Mr. Strassner has received numerous licenses and certifications since 2019, including several certifications as a SolidWorks professional, credentials as a licensed machine safety specialist through B11 Standards Inc., and multiple certifications through Coursera. Additionally, he received Occupational Safety and Health Administration 30 certification through the organization's Safety Training Institute. Mr. Strassner plans to acquire the project management professional designation through the Project Management Institute soon.
Following in his father's footsteps, Mr. Strassner attributes his success to him for serving as a significant mentor throughout his career. He also notes being able to work with several great companies and having tremendous bosses who were also great mentors. Looking toward the future, Mr. Strassner aims to secure custom machine orders in the robotics field. He also envisions expanding the department's revenue to approximately $10 million annually.
