Prior to obtaining his current position, he worked for Pratt & Whitney as a quality manager, quality engineer, and service center manager. With Pratt & Whitney, he reported to the senior director of quality and oversaw staff training. During the early stages of his career, Mr. Gabrelcik gained valuable expertise in engineering with Jet Edge Waterjet Systems and RFA Engineering.
In conjunction with his work, Mr. Gabrelcik has contributed to his community as the alumni association president at American Meridian University, a liaison committee volunteer for The American Society of Mechanical Engineers, a site coordinator for United Way Worldwide, and as an engineering board member for Karen Wagner High School. An expert in his field, he holds a Bachelor of Engineering Technology from Southwest Minnesota State University. Similarly, he earned a Master of Science and completed coursework for a Doctorate of Business Administration in quality systems management from The National Graduate School of Quality Management. Subsequently, Mr. Gabrelcik expanded upon his professional knowledge, earning a Doctorate of Business Administration in quality systems management and completing a postdoctoral fellowship through American Meridian University.
Driven to stay abreast of changes in the field, Mr. Gabrelcik aligns himself with the Society of Automotive Engineers, the American Society for Quality, and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. In conjunction with his work, he also donates blood through South Texas Blood and Tissue and contributes to the Paralyzed Veterans of America and the United Way. In light of his professional accomplishments, he won the Engineering Manager's Award from Pratt & Whitney in 1999.
While his career has been filled with standout moments, Mr. Gabrelcik takes the most pride in helping volume grow by 300 percent as the quality manager at Pratt & Whitney. The cornerstone of his success lay in his hard work, his punctuality, and his respect for his peers and bosses. Within the next five to ten years, Mr. Gabrelcik aims to become part of an aerospace business again.
