Since 2021, she has focused her efforts on conducting reviews of abuse or fraud, consulting with her team when they find issues with medical records and medical claims. Additionally, she has served as a consultant, certified fraud examiner and utilization review nurse for Medical Mutual of Ohio since 1997 and is a valued member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and the American Academy of Professional Coders while maintaining an active license as a registered nurse.
Prior to her current role, Ms. Pardo began her career as a mental health caregiver for Community Support Services in 1988 and then worked with the University Hospitals of Cleveland in 1991. Following this time, she served as a nurse consultant for Health Matters, Inc. in 1995.
Prior to embarking on her professional journey, Ms. Pardo earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Akron in 1991. Well-qualified in her field, she is a Medicaid Learning Center-certified Medicaid professional and certified fraud examiner. Added to these, she is a registered nurse and certified professional coder.
Within the coming year, Ms. Pardo intends to complete a master's degree program in business analytics from Ashland University. She strives to ensure that her personal life reflects her professional life, taking advantage of new opportunities as they arise.
