Margaret Jean Reynolds Celebrated for Dedication to the Field of Education

LOS ALTOS, CA, May 26, 2023 - Margaret Reynolds has been included in Marquis Who's Who. Drawing on more than twenty years of professional experience in education, Ms. Reynolds presently serves as Vice Principal of Student Services at Santa Clara High School, where she manages the legal aspects of Special Education, 504s, Health Services, and provides in-person instruction for at-risk children. She serves as a liaison for the community and California Youth Outreach. Similarly, she partners with the Santa Clara Police Department to conduct all of their trainings and mental health checks. Prior to obtaining her current position, Ms. Reynolds worked as an Assistant Principal for Niche's top High School in California, Henry M. Gunn High School, in the Palo Alto Unified School District as well as a Vice Principal and Director of Drexel Special Projects for the Diocese of San Jose.

During the early stages of her career, Ms. Reynolds gained valuable expertise as an Instructional Coach and a longtime English and AVID teacher with East Side Union High School District and Fremont Union High School District. Alongside her work, she contributes to her community through the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and stewardship through her church. Driven to remain abreast of ongoing changes in an ever-evolving industry, Ms. Reynolds aligns herself with the Association of California School Administrators and the National Education Association.

An expert in her field, Ms. Reynolds earned Master of Education in Education Administration from Santa Clara University, a Master of Arts in Cross-Cultural Teaching from National University, and a Bachelor of Arts in English from California State University, Chico. Further, she holds an Administrative Credential in Education Administration and Single Subject Teaching Credential in English. In recognition of her outstanding body of work, she has been included in several editions of Who's Who Among America's Teachers, nominated for Teacher of the Year at Fremont Union High School District, recognized by the Filipino Youth Organization, and won the USA Martial Arts Service Award.

While her career has been filled with highlights, Ms. Reynolds takes the most pride in the relationships that she has built with students over the years. Though hard work and dedication have brought her far, she credits her success to a passion for supporting students in learning who they are, where their strengths lie, and how to harness their perseverance to grow into phenomenal contributors to their lives, school, and global community. Within the coming years, Ms. Reynolds aims to challenge herself by expanding her skillset as a Principal and Learning and Development Trainer.
