PASO ROBLES, CA, May 03, 2023 - Heidi Negranti has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. Drawing on a recipe for delectable meat snacks that dates back three generations in her family, Ms. Negranti is distinguished for her role as owner of Slim Sadie's Beef Jerky. The company, which Ms. Negranti founded in 2019, is named after her mother, who took the family recipe and made it a staple in their home. With encouragement from her husband and brother, Ms. Negranti coined the name "Slim Sadie" after her family's term of endearment for her mother.
In her role, Ms. Negranti oversees operations of the business, including marketing and sales. She is proud to have the support of her family, including her mother, husband and brother; even her 7-year-old son assists by stocking shelves, making deliveries and collecting payments.
In addition, Ms. Negranti manages her husband's veterinary practice. Previously, she worked in purchasing at the sheriff's office. A veteran, she also served six years in the U.S. Navy and was one of the first women to serve aboard a Navy destroyer.
Among her career accomplishments, Ms. Negranti is especially proud of establishing Slim Sadie's Beef Jerky and keeping the business alive through the pandemic. In the past four years, she has grown the company considerably; today she has a co-packer and two distributors, and her product sells on Amazon and in more than 300 stores. Looking toward the future, Ms. Negranti hopes to get her beef jerky into larger supermarket chains.
Outside of work, Ms. Negranti enjoys equestrian sports, mostly jumping, and hot yoga, and she is active with Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) for the local military, the Paso Robles Chamber of Commerce and the Better Business Bureau. When she is not spending time with her husband and son, she is taking care of her extended family, which includes six horses, two dogs, two cats, 14 chickens and cattle.
