Michael L. Taylor Lauded for Excellence in Law

PENNSAUKEN, NJ, April 28, 2023 - Michael Taylor has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Drawing on years of legal expertise, Mr. Taylor presently excels as an attorney-at-law with BLB&G Law Firm, through which he compiles deposition kits, helps process requests for production and provides legal counsel for his clients. Prior to obtaining his current role, he worked as an AML compliance officer for Chase Bank performing monthly AML risk-based reviews and analysis. During the early stages of his career Mr. Taylor gained valuable expertise in law as a contract attorney for Beacon Hill Staffing Group. As a staff member with Beacon Hill, he worked as a quality control reviewer for a team of 75 attorneys and litigated cases for various Fortune 50 companies.

Over the years, Mr. Taylor also worked as a solo practitioner representing clients in bankruptcy and criminal law cases and as an associate attorney for Rubin, Kaplan & Associates, P.C. Alongside his work, he has contributed to his community through It Takes A Village Housing and abroad with Fundacion Aldeas de Paz in Samana, Dominican Republic. Similarly, he remains abreast of ongoing industry changes via his affiliations with the New Jersey Bar Association, Camden County Lawyers and the Garden State Bar Association. An expert in his field, Mr. Taylor holds a Bachelor of Arts in finance from Rutgers Business School and a JD in law from Rutgers-Camden Law School.

Throughout his career, Mr. Taylor has expanded upon his professional knowledge by earning various certifications, including a certificate in negotiation mastery through Harvard Business School Online, a certificate in grant writing from Temple University, a certification in psychology of finance from the University of Chicago, and a certificate in human rights consulting through the U.S. Institute of Diplomacy and Human Rights. While his career has been filled with highlights, Mr. Taylor takes the most pride in becoming the chairman of the board for the nonprofit organization It Takes A Village Housing, which provides housing for mothers who struggle with substance abuse problems. Though hard work and dedication have brought him far in his career, he credits his success to his solid family values and his passion for what he does. Within the coming years, Mr. Taylor aims to further give back to his community by working with the mayors of several New Jersey cities to secure transitional housing for mothers in recovery.
