Leveraging more than three decades of excellence in interior design, Ms. Sunshine has earned distinction as the interior designer and owner of IN-TWO-DESIGN. Since 2013, she has focused her efforts on designing creative residential spaces and engaging in space planning for her clients, as well as handling the financial reports, billing and other critical matters for the company.
Prior to her current role, Ms. Sunshine began her career as the Vice President of Operations for Sun Apparel in 1994. Among her professional accomplishments, she is proud to have been named the Best Interior Designer on Long Island for three consecutive years prior to moving her office into Manhattan in 2022 and received several HOUZZ Awards for her stellar work.
Prior to embarking on her professional journey, Ms. Sunshine earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology, sociology and the fine arts from The George Washington University in 1985. Following this achievement, she graduated from the interior design program at the Long Island University in 2012.
Within the coming years, Ms. Sunshine intends to expand her business and add more young designers to her team, mentoring them and helping them to grow within their own professional lives. A determined and focused person by nature, she came into the design industry at a time when it was a male-dominated field, but was able to overcome each challenge and build a successful company. She plans to focus her hiring on women who want to enter the field, promoting their work to encourage more female leadership in design.
