Ms. Gutierrez is an associate engineer for Puffer-Sweiven, an industrial equipment supplier based in Stafford, Texas. Since 2018, she has brought her expertise in the oil and gas industry to the company's clients through design engineering and guidance in sales and project execution. She has found success in her field for over 25 years, including engineering and international energy industry projects. Before beginning her career, Ms. Gutierrez earned a bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering and a Master of Science in Business and Financial Management from the University of Zulia.
In 1999, she undertook a professional internship with the Consorcio Tecpetrol-Comparex-CMS Nomeco, and she completed her thesis studies the following year. She began working with UP Lagomar in 2003 as a Development Reservoir Engineer and departed in 2008 to accept a similar position for Integrated Reservoir Studies in Venezuela. Since 2015, Ms. Gutierrez has been a Business Administrator for DST Logistics in addition to her work with Puffer-Sweiven.
Outside her primary projects, Ms. Gutierrez has remained active in contracting and independent endeavors. Her work has included studies in conventional and unconventional reservoirs, well production optimization, interventions and completions plan, floating production storage, gas plants, gathering and production pipeline among other topics. In order to remain at the leading edge of developments in her field, Ms. Gutierrez is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, Society of Woman Engineer and the Venezuela College of Engineers.
As a recognized thought leader in her industry, Ms. Gutierrez has been presented with numerous awards and accolades, including two Extra Mile Awards and an Honor Award. She credits her success to her dedication to her work and drive to succeed. In her personal time, Ms. Gutierrez enjoys reading, independent learning, and spending time with her children.
