Jazz at St. Andrews Community Music Festival Is Back in Los Angeles for Their Annual Jazz Festival

July 13, 2022 - The Jazz festival at St. Andrews Recreation Center is back for another year! Located in the heart of South Los Angeles, this free family-friendly event celebrates community and the tradition of jazz. We're inviting the community to join us for an eventful celebration with food trucks, vendors, games and prizes. There will be live performances by Mike Phillips, Melena, Susan Carol, Soulful of Noise, and the Washington Prep High School alumni jazz band and is hosted by the City of Los Angeles and co-hosted by Councilmember Marqueece Harris-Dawson and the Empowerment Congress Southwest Area Neighborhood Development Council. This family-friendly event will include a Children's Village to help keep the children busy with activities. Jazz at St. Andrews Community Music Festival will take place at St. Andrews Recreation Center in Los Angeles, CA on Sunday, July 10, 2022, from 11am – 5pm PDT.

Jazz at St. Andrews Community Music Festival
Presented by the City of Los Angeles and co-hosted by Councilmember Marqueece Harris-Dawson and the Empowerment Congress Southwest Area Neighborhood Development Council, this annual event celebrates the tradition of jazz setting the stage for a fun day at the neighborhood park. The Empowerment Congress Central Area NDC is a city-certified local group made up of people who live, work, own property or have some other connection to our neighborhood. Neighborhood Council Board Members are elected or selected to their positions by the neighborhoods themselves.
