OTTAWA, ON, January 06, 2022 - A new patent has been added to the AcceleRoute portfolio that significantly expands the capacity of previous AcceleRoute network architecture designs.

AcceleRoute is able to aggregate large numbers of basic spine-and-leaf networks using direct lateral connections. This scaling process, called "Network Fusion", eliminates the need for additional layers of buffered core switches. The result is virtually unlimited incremental expansion with edge-to-edge latency near that of zero-hop direct links.

AcceleRoute networks are of particular interest to Data Centers experiencing latency-sensitive east-west traffic arising from disaggregation techniques such as microservices.

The AcceleRoute patent portfolio comprises 35 patents and over 700 claims, and is being offered for sale in advance of auction later in 2022.
