The First EVER "U Buy Black" Marketplace is coming to Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES - May 15, 2021 - The first ever "U Buy Black" Marketplace is coming to Los Angeles. Black-Owned Businesses will showcase their products and services during this outdoor event which takes place Sunday, May 23rd, 11am-4pm at the Metropolis, 1100 S Olive Street, Downtown Los Angeles. This celebration of Black businesses hopes to serve as a catalyst to catapult businesses past COVID-19 into a new era of Black ientrepreneurship. This marketplace was inspired by the new phone App called "U Buy Black" a Black Business Directory for Black owned businesses to list their products and services. This new platform is being described as "your mom"s Yellow Pages meets Clubhouse". Rwanda created "UBuyBlack" to bridge the socio-economic gap and get more Black dollars circulating in the community. "It was important to recognize the moment at hand. More African-Americans started businesses during covid than any other time in history", says founder Rwanda Ray. She wants The Marketplace to be a place that cultivates and supports future black millionaires and their brands. Rwanda is looking to establish "U Buy Black" in every major City and looking to establish partnerships with major brands who want to support the black community and its entrepreneurs.
