ESSINGTON, Pa. - April 16, 2021 - TVS Classic Sports Network is adding the sports collection of pioneer sports TV producer Walter Schwimmer. Located in Chicago, it was Schwimmer who pioneered sports TV syndication with his creation of Championship Bowling, All Star Golf, Grand Prize Racing, Championship Bridge, and Lets Go to the Races. The shows are being added through the Spring and early Summer on the 24/7 streaming post cable network. TVS Classic Sports Network is available on the WatchYour.TV platform, powered by Tulix. Via apps from Apple, Amazon, Google, ROKU, and Web TV, the Walter Schwimmer Collection is available on all Mobile and IPTV devices as well as on Smart TVs in 85% of TV homes in the USA.

Championship Bowling was created by Schwimmer in the early 1950's and continued through the 1960's. It was credited with providing pro bowlers with a national platform from which they could form the PBA. All Star Golf was similarly credited with giving pro golfers a showcase to build their popularity and it spawned several similar shows that helped propel golf into a national TV franchise.

TVS Classic Sports Network was founded in 1973 as the first national commercial cable TV network. Called All Sports/All Day, it ran the Schwimmer shows back then as the channel established the cable TV network business. All Sports / All Day was absorbed into the TVS Television Network in 1987.
