Food Core Temperature Data Logger Series From T&D Features an Improved, Ruggedized Design

SANTA FE, N.M. - March 23, 2021 - T&D Corporation, the only manufacturer of wireless and stand-alone data loggers providing free and unlimited cloud data storage, today announced the release of its next-generation RTR-602 Food Core Temperature Data Logger Series and the RTR-600BD Battery Charge Dock.

"The updates to this popular data logger lineup features a rugged design needed for the fast-paced and highly-regulated food and beverage industry," said Stephen Knuth, president, TandD US, LLC. "This data logger can be used to accurately measure and record the core temperature of food and liquid in storage or during preparation, which is critical to health and safety."

The RTR-602 Series is an update to T&D's RTR-601 Series, introducing a new body case that greatly improves drop resistance, supplementing its already superb water and oil resistance. Four RTR-602 Series models are now available, including the RTR-602S, RTR-602L, RTR-602ES and the RTR-602EL. The new RTR-600BD charging dock allows users to charge two RTR-602 units simultaneously.

Designed to measure and record core food and beverage temperature during storage and preparation, the RTR-602 Series uses two different length round-tipped stainless probe sensors and a 90cm cable connecting the sensor and logger. With just one push of the record button on the data logger, it's possible to record temperature, time of measurement, user, item, and judgment result (according to set upper/lower limits.) The recorded data can then be downloaded wirelessly to a PC via a base unit, or automatically sent to T&D's free-of-charge cloud storage service, T&D WebStorage Service.

Additional features of the next-generation RTR-602 series include:
The ability to be used in conjunction with T&D's RTR500B Series Wireless Base Unit to create a total food temperature management system.
The flexibility to be used with any existing RTR-601 already in use.
The convenience of being able to automatically upload data via a base unit to the T&D WebStorage Service.
